What is “Holistic”?

I think Wikipedia defines this best by saying, “Holism refers to the idea that an entity is greater than the sum of its parts… achieving and maintaining good health involves more than just taking care of all the various components that make up the physical body – attention must be paid to aspects such as emotional and spiritual well-being as well”.

The Three Gunas
The lens through which we observe reality is shaded by the process of identification. This is how we separate singular manifestation into a plural reality. The function of the mind responsible for this is called ahamkar or ego. During this process, ego expresses itself and it’s vision of reality through 3 universal qualities:
